Responsibilities: u2022 Draft and negotiate loan agreements and related real estate finance documents. u2022 Conduct thorough due diligence on complex affordable housing transactions. u2022 Review and assess third-party legal documents to ensure compliance and accuracy. u2022 Represent the firm in direct communications with clients, public agencies, housing developers, and service providers. u2022 Collaborate with colleagues to manage all stages of real estate financing transactions. u2022 Provide guidance on low-income housing tax credit (LIHTC) programs and other affordable housing finance initiatives. u2022 Maintain meticulous attention to detail in all legal documentation and communications. u2022 Support organizational goals by managing multiple projects efficiently and meeting deadlines. Requirements u2022 Licensed attorney with active bar membership. u2022 Minimum of 3 years of experience in real estate finance, including affordable housing transactions. u2022 Proficiency in low-income housing tax credit (LIHTC) programs and related legal frameworks. u2022 Strong skills in negotiating contracts and drafting complex legal documents. u2022 Demonstrated ability to manage and oversee intricate real estate transactions. u2022 Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. u2022 Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities. u2022 Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively within a team environment.
