EMPLOYMENT SPECIALIST / RECRUITER IN ASCENSION PARISH TYPE: FULL TIME / LONG TERM PAY: $35,000 BASE + COMMISSION / BONUSES SCHEDULE HOURS: MON - FRI Express Employment Professionals, a full-service staffing agency, is currently hiring for EMPLOYMENT SPECIALIST / RECRUITER for a local client in ASCENSION PARISH. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES for EMPLOYMENT SPECIALIST / RECRUITER: Place well qualified candidates into open job orders with urgency Meet with clients to get a detailed and accurate job order description Source, screen and interview associates and develop a high quality candidate inventory Place outgoing sales calls to clients and prospects to help grow our business and find jobs for our candidates Diligently use our proprietary software system to track all activity with associates and clients Be available and responsive to clients and associates outside of normal business hours Other tasks may be needed. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: FAST PACED - Must be willing and able to work at a high pace to get lots of stuff done every day Motivated, dedicated, ambitious and willing to work hard Possess strong communication skills - in person, over the phone and in writing; Be professional and courteous in all your communications Must have a strong sales personality - willing to pick up the phone and visit people in person to tell them about the benefits of working with Express Have a strong understanding of general business concepts and ability to learn new things quickly; must be comfortable learning and using new computer software Previous staffing experience OR experience in a sales culture, hotel sales, retail management and/or a position that involved hiring and supervising could be helpful College education preferred but non-degreed candidates also considered BENEFITS INCLUDED: Competitive base salary with monthly commission Periodic goal based incentives based on individual and office performance Paid holidays and vacation Virtually all M-F schedule, occasional Saturdays and after hours Lots of future career advancement opportunities WAYS TO APPLY: (choose one) In person: Express Employment Professionals, 1021 N.
