Amazon, one of the top 100 companies in the United States, has an immediate opening for a IT Equipment Coordinator in our Fulfillment Center (FC). FCs throughout the U.S. handle millions of items from tens of thousands of vendors and ship them across the globe each day. The successful IT Equipment Coordinator will be responsible for providing assistance to the operations team by maintaining IT inventory, coordinating ordering, delivery, and audits of assets assigned to the IT department, and maintaining general standardized housekeeping of all IT areas. Key job responsibilities Responsibilities include allocation and maintenance of IT equipment throughout the Fulfillment Center. IT Equipment Coordinators are also responsible for the RMA and repair process for all devices under warranty. The IT Equipment Coordinator is a member of the larger IT team within the FC and will specifically support the Junior and Senior Technicians in daily projects and activities as directed. This position reports directly to the IT manager for the fulfillment center. This is a Seasonal Tier 1 position. Based on business need, reserves the right to modify shift times or rotate employees between existing shifts at any time in the companyu2019s sole discretion.Basic Qualifications- u2022 Knowledge of networking fundamentals - u2022 Experience managing inventory in warehousing, retail or distribution setting - u2022 Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair - u2022 Experience using computers and Microsoft Office tools such as Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint - u2022 High School diploma or equivalent - u2022 Can walk on job sites in uneven terrain - u2022 Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays - u2022 Can lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach - u2022 Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorshipPreferred Qualifications- u2022 Experience maintaining zebra thermal printers, troubleshooting thin clients, PCs, scanners, and portable handheld terminals - u2022 Experience in technical support, or experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure - u2022 Can manage a high volume of requests and competing deadlines - u2022 u2022 Excellent written and verbal communication skills - u2022 u2022 Ability to prioritize work based on department and production objectives Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.
