As an Electronics Engineer , you will perform Engineering functions in support of the US Navy's Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) D5 Life Extension (D5LE) Avionics/Test Missile Kit (TMK) Engineering. Lockheed Martin (LM) is looking for a highly motivated Electronics Engineer to become a member of the Missile Systems Engineering & Integration Team. - - - Key activities you will accomplish in this role: u2022 Perform investigation of hardware failure during acceptance testing at the part, CCA and package levels. u2022 Apply circuit design and troubleshooting principles to develop new and improve existing electronics hardware. u2022 Assessment, troubleshooting and analysis of existing Avionics Hardware. u2022 Perform circuit simulation with tools such as ORCAD PSPICE u2022 Create and maintain documents to include Electronic Drawings including Schematics, and other Avionics Hardware documentation. u2022 Participate in technical reviews and audits. u2022 Work with other Subject Matter Authorities to understand the hardware and systems. u2022 Assist with investigations and tests at customer and supplier sites. - - - To be effective in this role, you will need: u2022 Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or related discipline. u2022 Have previous experience troubleshooting hardware using schematics, drawings or simulation tools. u2022 Have experience or previous coursework using lab equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters, power supplies, etc.). u2022 2+ years professional experience; 0+ years with Masters degree. u2022 Willing and able to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret clearance , thus you are a US Citizen . - - - Why Lockheed Martin? Desired Skills: u2022 Strong communication skills and able to effectively work with customer and suppliers. u2022 Master of Science (MS) or Higher in Electrical/Electronic Engineering. u2022 Experience on Space and/or Missile Defense Missions u2022 Experience performing failure Investigation on electronic hardware (CCA, Unit, and System Level), u2022 Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate Failure Analysis, complex design information, technical decisions and issues to both highly technical and non-technical reviewers. u2022 Demonstrated experience with design and/or analysis of PCB/PWB or Circuit Card Assemblies (CCA) u2022 Design experience using any of the major tools such as Mentor, Cadence, Altium, or Zuken. u2022 Experience performing circuit modeling and analysis with tools such as ORCAD PSPICE u2022 Adaptable to new situations and demonstrate self-initiative in solving complex problem. u2022 Able to work effectively in a diverse team environment.
