About the role As a Quality Assurance Analyst u2013 Healthcare Systems , you will make an impact by ensuring data integrity, validating business rules, and supporting smooth application migrations within healthcare platforms. You will be a valued member of the Healthcare Technology Delivery team and work collaboratively with project managers, business stakeholders, and development teams. In this role, you will: + Gather and analyze functional and non-functional requirements for data transformation utilities (DTU) and create accurate data mappings. + Perform backend testing using complex SQL queries to validate data flows across Oracle and SQL Server databases. + Validate ETL processes, including Informatica transformation rules and business logic. + Test application functionality post-migration (e.g., Pega 5.5 to 6.1) using PRPC tools such as Clipboard, Tracer, and Rules Inspector. + Execute test cases using QTest, log defects in Jira, and ensure traceability between test cases and defects. What you need to have to be considered + Strong experience in SQL (including inner/outer joins and complex queries) for data validation and backend testing. + Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and Kanban boards. + Proficiency in PRPC tools for application testing and rule validation. + Knowledge of EDI X12 837 and 835 transaction sets for claims processing. + Ability to write and execute detailed test scenarios and cases for ETL processes. These will help you stand out + Experience with healthcare platforms such as FACETS. + Familiarity with mocking 837 claims for testing multiple claim scenarios. + Exposure to QTest and Jira for test management and defect tracking. + Understanding of SLA configurations and declarative rules in Pega. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Salary and Other Compensation: Applications will be accepted until November 1, 2025 The annual salary for this position is between $ 90,000 - $ 100,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizantu2019s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizantu2019s applicable plans.
