Summary GAMA-1 Technologies, LLC seeks an experienced IT Business Analyst I to support our growing Cloud Services practice and assist with IT asset and inventory management. This on-site entry-level position is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals who are passionate about cloud technologies and eager to build a career in cloud architecture, deployment, and management. The IT Business Analyst I will also assist with maintaining accurate inventory records of hardware, software, and cloud resources, supporting procurement tracking, and contributing to the overall efficiency of IT operations.Supervisory Responsibilities NoneEssential functions/responsibilitiesReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.Work with government stakeholders to gather, document, and validate business and technical requirements.Assist in translating business needs into technical specifications for development teams.Support the creation of Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs), user stories, and process flows.Assist in conducting gap analyses and identifying process improvementsSupport User Acceptance Testing (UAT), training documentation, and rollout planning.Ensure compliance with federal IT standards, including security and accessibility (e.g., FISMA, Section 508).Assist with inventory tracking and asset management of IT equipment and software licenses, ensuring accuracy and accountability.Support end-user technical requests such as device setup, troubleshooting, and coordination with Service Desk staff.Participate in maintaining configuration management records and verifying inventory data across systems.Help document and track system hardware, software, and cloud resource allocations.Help maintain project documentation in accordance with contract and agency guidelines.Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Duties, responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without formation Security and Confidentiality ObligationsEnsure adherence to organizational information security policies and procedures; actively participate in mandatory security awareness training; and manage confidential and sensitive information in accordance with company protocols and data protection standardsBasic Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field0-2 years of experience in cloud computing, IT infrastructure, or a similar roleKnowledge of major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google CloudExposure to scripting or programming languagesStrong problem solving skills and a willingness to learnProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; Preferred QualificationsFamiliarity with IT inventory management systems or configuration management databases (CMDB).Basic knowledge of ServiceNow, Sunflower, MECM, asset and device tracking.Experience providing Tier I technical support or working alongside IT service teamsWork authorization/security clearance requirementsAbility to obtain a security clearance.Work environmentThis work is normally completed at the clients location in Silver Spring, MD.Physical demandsProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organizations and client facilities.
