We are a community of compassionate professionals who support our patients and each other throughout their healing journey.About the roleWe are seeking experienced, communicative, and compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners to join our Encinitas Clinic. You must have a minimum of at least 2 years of experience practicing as a licensed PMHNPWhat you'll doKey ResponsibilitiesConduct patient visits per accepted practice standardsObtain patient histories and perform psychiatric evaluationsDevelop and implement treatment plans in accordance with clinical practice guidelines and protocolsBuild and manage a panel of patients for whom you are the primary psychopharmacologistMonitor the effectiveness of therapeutic intervention, assess, and manage patient follow up careMaintain the confidentiality of PHIAssumes responsibility and accountability for time management, professional relationships, and interpersonal interactions within the job settingMaintains continuing educational requirements necessary for licensure and certificationsProvides appropriate and timely documentation of clinical care ensuring that records are detailed, complete, and comply with related standards and regulationsThis is a full-time role, Monday through Friday- no weekends.QualificationsCurrent License as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner PMHNP - minimum of 2 years of experience*Minimum 2 year of experience with medication managementUnrestricted license to practice in the State of CaliforniaStrong IV skillsPossesses a State Controlled Substance License II through VPossesses a Federal DEA Certificate II through VBLS Certification for Healthcare ProvidersAbility to collaborate and communicate with members of an interdisciplinary care teamEffective problem-solving and prioritization skillsPrevious experience in a clinical settingTMS and Ketamine experienceMust be able to pass an extensive background check including all educational requirements and licensingWhy work with us?At Stella Mental Health, we are committed to fostering a culture of respect, empathy, and collaboration among our team, patients, and partners.
