This is a very visible, significant role within the Company and the R&D function. This position will report to Global Innovation Lead.The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:Actively contribute to the organizational goals by taking initiative, executing on goals and focusing on performance and safetyImprove the organization capacity and capabilities through building collaborative relationships, optimizing diverse talent and utilizing positive communications and influence with othersIn order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following:Min B.S. degree in chemistry or cosmetics science, masters preferred.Min. 5 to 10 years’ experience in technical service, cosmetic science, formulating / cosmetic product development.Have experience working with global multidisciplinary project teams; and be able to lead such teams.Ability to build a strong creative network of connections (in- & external, different levels) who can support collaboration and provide valuable feedback.Strong communication/presentation skills with the ability to effectively present design ideas to internal/external stakeholders at all levelsExperience giving public technical presentations and talks in front of large crowds.Travel up to 30% of the time.Demonstrated responsible and ethical behavior at all timesThe ability to help the company drive greater value through understanding the business, making complex decisions and creating the new and differentThe following skill sets are preferred by the business unit:Thinks customer centric & strategic.Strong solving skills & result oriented.Capability to deliver against set deadlines.Understanding cosmetic regulations
