Press Helper

HIRING IMMEDIATELY PRESS HELPERHours: 3rd SHIFT (10pm-6:30a, Sunday-Thursday) Additional hours may be required (including weekends) depending on workload $18-$24 dependent on experience Responsibilities will include stacking and loading parent sheets of paper for Press. Obtaining materials such as printing plates, ink, and solvents for printing presses. Press Setup Assistance Support the press operator with the setup of printing equipment, including adjusting settings, loading materials, and preparing the press for production runs.Material Handling Assist in handling and organizing printing materials such as paper, ink, and plates to ensure smooth workflow and efficient production.Quality Control Monitor printed materials for quality, including color accuracy, print clarity, and overall production standards, and report any issues to the press operator.Safety Compliance Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment, including the proper handling of hazardous materials and the operation of press machinery.Team Collaboration Work collaboratively with the press operator and other team members to meet production schedules and ensure efficient workflow.Qualifications and Skills High school diploma or equivalentPrevious experience in a printing environment is preferred but not essentialBasic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn and develop new skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and remain detail-orientedStrong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accuratelyCommitment to safety procedures and maintaining a clean work area The Press Helper role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who is capable of supporting printing operations while maintaining a focus on quality, safety, and efficiency.
