CGP: Staff Accountant

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Staff Accountant to assist their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $40.00 to $43.00 per hour. Job Responsibilities: Prepare general ledger entries and reconcile key balance sheet accounts in accordance with GAAP Maintain and update databases and spreadsheets to support month-end close activities Review financial statement variances and provide flux analysis between actuals and budget Enter and reconcile cash transactions across all accounts Prepare monthly customer invoice billings and follow up to ensure timely payments Requirements: Exhibit strong financial and analytical acumen with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance Apply problem-solving and interpersonal skills to meet tight deadlines and resolve issues Recommend ways to reduce costs and enhance revenue through process improvements Collaborate with other departments to improve workflows and support strategic initiatives Assist with year-end audit requests and prepare ad-hoc reports as needed Qualifications: An Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance and 2+ years of related experience Communicate clearly through strong written and verbal skills Show proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office, especially Excel Manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively in a fast-paced environment Maintain accuracy and completeness of financial records while supporting internal controls REF# #LI-DD1
