Composite Technician

Composite Technician $18/hr + DOE - $2/hr. 2nd Shift Differential 1st shift- Mon-Thur 6a - 3:30p, Fri 6a-10a 2nd shift - Mon-Thurs 2p-12:30a or Mon-Fri 2p-10:30p Are you a detail-oriented, result-driven manufacturing professional? If so, this position is for you! A local, well-established company in Orange City is looking for Composite Technicians to join their growing team. The ideal candidate would have excellent attention to detail, and would be responsible for assembling components by laying composites and materials. Responsibilities: Assemble components by laying composites and materials onto molds. Perform trimming, vacuum-bagging, basic repair, material preparation, weighing, finishing and molding operations. Complete inspection of in-process and finished product using hand measurement tools. Record keeping of inspection results. Other duties as assigned by supervisor. Requirements: High school diploma, GED or equivalent and one year of manufacturing experience preferred. Ability to comprehend and follow written specifications. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a strong attention to detail. Ability to communicate both orally and in writing. Have excellent hand dexterity and coordination; ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand/walk for entire shift. What you’ll get: Starting Pay: $18/hr. + DOE Paid Every Friday!
