Description We are looking for a skilled Surgery Scheduler to join our team in Glendale, California. Responsibilities: u2022 Coordinate and manage surgery schedules, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. u2022 Verify patient information and insurance coverage prior to scheduling procedures. u2022 Utilize Epic EMR to maintain accurate records and streamline scheduling processes. u2022 Communicate effectively with patients, surgeons, and healthcare staff to confirm schedules and resolve any conflicts. u2022 Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures during the scheduling process. u2022 Collaborate with surgical teams to optimize scheduling and resource allocation. u2022 Provide patients with pre-operative instructions and ensure they are well-informed about their procedures. u2022 Handle last-minute changes or emergencies with professionalism and efficiency. u2022 Work closely with insurance providers to confirm coverage for surgical procedures. u2022 Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while handling sensitive patient information.
