Box Truck Driver Sun Valley, CA Full time Temp to hire Monday thru Friday 6am to 2:30pm $20hr to start Busy manufacturer and supplier of premium natural dog treats is looking for a Box Truck Driver to join their team at their Sun Valley plant. Summary: Seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, adherence to traffic regulations, and the ability to handle a box truck. Will load at our Sylmar warehouse and distribute to customers. Responsibilities: Operate box truck, for the delivery of goods to designated locations. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of goods during transport. Maintain accurate delivery records, including logs of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery times. Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns from clients. Navigate routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and company policies. Assist in heavy lifting as required during the loading and unloading process. Qualifications: Experience in heavy lifting and handling various types of cargo safely. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics processes. Previous experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving is advantageous. Ability to operate box truck. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols while on the road.
