Mine Equipment Repair

A local company has partnered with Express Employment Professionals to hire Mine Equipment Repair Workers to join their team. This is a full time position with a schedule of Monday through Friday day shift, and compensation starting at up to $17 hourly, based on experience. Duties to Include: • Perform mechanical and hydraulic maintenance and repair work on equipment associated with a longwall mine • Use numerous types of hand tools, precision measuring instruments, diagnostic equipment (voltmeters, ammeters, etc.) and machine tools to replace parts and components • Dismantle and reassemble equipment and components as necessary • Perform welding and acetylene torch cutting work on as needed basis • Separate, sort, and tear down mine equipment • Sand and paint parts Qualified Candidates Should: • 1 year experience with welding, fabrication, machine shop or other equipment repair work experience strongly preferred • Knowledge and familiarity with hydraulic equipment preferred Apply Now!!
