Qualified applicants must live within commuting distance of our Seattle office location.The Workday Analyst is responsible for supporting, maintaining, and optimizing Workday, Sonos' global HRIS. This role focuses on configuration, reporting, security, and business process support across multiple Workday modules-ensuring data integrity, operational excellence, and a seamless user experience. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Workday, enjoys solving complex problems, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.What You'll DoSupport and maintain Workday modules including Core HCM, Recruiting, Performance, Compensation, Benefits, and Absence.Partner with HR teams to execute key employee lifecycle processes such as onboarding, job changes, terminations, performance and compensation cycles, and open enrollment.Assist with configuration updates, testing, and deployment of system enhancements and releases.Build and maintain custom reports and dashboards to enable data-driven decision-making.Troubleshoot and resolve user issues, escalating to senior analysts or vendors as needed.Maintain security roles and ensure compliance with data governance and privacy policies.Create and maintain system documentation and support training for HR and business users.Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, Finance, and IT to align on data definitions and process improvements.Own Workday release reviews, regression testing, and change management activities.Identify and implement opportunities to automate workflows and improve system efficiency.What You'll NeedBasic Qualifications1-3 years of hands-on Workday experience.Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking termediate Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.).Qualified applicants must be able to work from an office location for part of (or the majority of) the work week.Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.Experience running Advanced Compensation and Performance cycles in Workday.Knowledge of HR processes, compliance, and data privacy best practices.Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative working style.Research shows that some candidates may not apply for roles if they don't meet all the criteria.
