West Region Brokerage Leader, Casualty - Construction and InfrastructureWe currently have an exciting career opportunity for the West Region Brokerage Leader position in our West Region. This is a great opportunity to join the Construction & Infrastructure team to manage and broker/consult on behalf of a diversified client base with insurance underwriters in the Casualty insurance discipline.This is a hybrid role that requires working onsite at least 3 days a week from a local Aon office in Denver, Los Angeles, San Francisco or Seattle.Aon is in the business of better decisionsAt Aon, we shape decisions for the better to protect and enrich the lives of people around the world.As an organization, we are united through trust as one inclusive team and we are passionate about helping our colleagues and clients succeed.What the day will look likeThe Broker Leader is responsible for assessing client needs, designing solutions and negotiating with insurance carriers to obtain coverage that is in a client's best interestsProfessional who develops and manages client relationships, account strategies and insurance marketing activities.Act as a trusted advisor to the client, in broking, designing, selling and servicing complex accountsProvide outstanding and timely service and support to clients, relationship managers and originatorIdentify and analyze client exposures and ensure policy coverage addresses all such exposuresFacilitate the compilation of submission information in conjunction with clients, relationship managers, originators and service center supportFinalize market submission and product design options to clients, relationship managers, and originatorsReview and analyze quotes and binders to ensure appropriate coverageDetailed knowledge of the existing and prospected business within the segmentInsurance Carrier relations specific to the segmentBespoke Broking and account reviewsDetailed knowledge of the market dynamics within the segmentRetain and grow assigned clients / prospectsAdhere to the highest standards of professionalism and ethical behavior in all activities and able to work well in a team environmentManagement responsibilities, including leading and developing a team through coaching, training, and regular performance feedback, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business objectives, and overseeing daily operations to ensure achievement of department goals.Travel as required for client, prospect and industry eventsSkills and experience that will lead to successMinimum 15+ years construction/infrastructure customer service and brokerage support experienceAgent/Broker LicenseProven collaboration skills - Prioritizes team success over individual recognitionStrong oral presentation skills and the ability to clearly articulate complex written messagesA network of carrier relationshipsStrong negotiation skillsStrong work ethicDevelop proficiency in use of in-house account management systems (CRBA, CRA and future Aon brokerage and analytics tools)Preferred ExperienceBroking experience on major complex risksManagement Skills PreferredComputer knowledge: Adept with Microsoft Office SuiteEducationBachelor's degree requiredHow we support our colleaguesIn addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage an inclusive workforce.
