The Division of Hematology, MedicalOncology and Palliative Care seeks a full-time physician to deliverexpert in-person outpatient palliative care at the University ofWisconsin Carbone Cancer Center. This provider would be board-certifiedor board-eligible for Hospice and Palliative Medicine. The physicianwill support a broad adult patient population, including those withsolid and hematologic malignancies receiving chemo/immunotherapy as wellas patients undergoing advanced therapies such as CAR-T and SCT. Infewer numbers, this provider would also consult on patients with otherlife-limiting conditions caused by end-organ failure. In 2025 we movedour existing outpatient palliative care team (comprised of physicians,advanced practice providers, nurses, social workers, and chaplains) to anew, large, multispecialty clinic facility. This physician will lead therebuilding of our original palliative care ambulatory clinic at theUniversity Hospital location of Carbone Cancer Center. As such, thesuccessful candidate will not only be a skilled palliative carephysician, but they will also help rebuild and strengthen the palliativecare presence at this critical site.
