As a result, afull-time position is available for a highly motivated individual tojoin our Building Engineering group as an Experienced ElectricalEngineer. This opportunity is available at either our Denver, CO orMadison, WI office locations. Responsibilities include: Designing Lowand medium voltage power systems Lighting systems and associatedcontrols Fire alarm and mass notification systems Preparing constructionplans and specifications of electrical systems Developing probableconstruction costs Providing construction administration and site visitsMentoring less experienced staff Other tasks as assigned. A validdriver's license and some travel (up to 25%) will be required. Thesuccessful candidate will have all the following: Bachelor's degree (orhigher) in electrical or architectural engineering from an accreditedcollege or university At least 6 years of relevant electrical experiencePE license in any state with the ability to obtain in other states Theideal candidate will have any/all of the following: Designing low andmedium voltage power, lighting systems and controls, fire alarm anddetection systems Preparing construction document drawings using RevitDesigning electrical systems using power design (EasyPower preferred)Using lighting calculations software (AGI32 preferred) Coordinating thepreparation of construction document drawings and specificationsProviding construction administration services and site visits relatedto electrical systems Mentoring less experienced engineers and designersAt Mead & Hunt we shape the future by putting people first.
