Admission nurses are responsible for orienting new patients to the hospice program, assisting the patient and caregiver with all the legal paperwork, and completing a thorough nursing assessment Qualifications The candidate is required to work 10-hour shifts, 4 days a week.The candidate must be willing to travel throughout the Bay Area. This position involves regular driving over long distances, so comfort with travel is essentialMinimum 1 year of hospice experience, SNF, or hospital experienceAbility to establish both hospice eligibility and diagnosis when patient is appropriateWillingness to travel to meet our patients where they live (private homes, assisted living facilities, hospitals, Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insuranceRegistered Nursing Licensure in the state of California Join our Talent Community!
