Power Systems Engineer

Type Direct Hire Salary $100,000 - $150,000 / yr Well established engineering design firm has a need for an Electrical Engineer with Power Systems (medium voltage) experience to be the Lead Engineer in the Knoxville office. Responsibilities include planning, design and construction administration services for a variety of clients, including electric systems, government agencies, and the industrial community. Work with other members of the team to provide solutions to our client’s projects that are both technically innovative and cost effective. Preferred Qualifications: • BSEE from an ABET accredited university • At least five years of progressive experience with medium voltage power systems • Registration as a Professional Engineer. • Knowledgeable with Microsoft Word and Excel • Experience with AutoCAD and PLS-CADD is a plus • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Able to provide on-site project observation and technical assistance during construction • Ability to effectively work independently or as part of a design team • Willing to relocate to Knoxville, TN area
