The manager, Manufacturing Communications, is responsible for developing and executing the internal and external communications strategy for Ford Manufacturing in the U.S., in close collaboration with global colleagues. Candidates who are in commuting distance to a Ford hub location may be required to be onsite four or more days per week. ResponsibilitiesWhat you'll do... Craft internal and external communications plans that support Ford Manufacturing’s and Ford Communication’s strategic objectives, and work with team members to bring them to life. Lead strategic communications for more than 20 U.S. manufacturing plants. Mine for great stories and find creative ways to tell them internally and externally. Support chief manufacturing officer’s executive communications and partner with them to ensure alignment and integration of communications plan. Serve as media relations contact for Ford Manufacturing in the U.S. Proactively manage risks to employee sentiment, stakeholder perception and Ford’s reputation. Supervise team members, developing their talent and guiding strategy execution. Grow strong relationships with colleagues and media.
