Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $, to $, per year. Job Responsibilities: Prepare and review tax workpapers, including state apportionment calculations for partnership tax filings. Coordinate the tax preparation process with external parties and service providers. Prepare quarterly and annual tax projections to support planning and compliance. Process tax payments and prepare withholding allocations, including California PTET. Conduct tax research using tools such as CCH to support filings and decisions. Requirements: Review investor and external JV K-1s and tax forms prepared by third-party firms. Assist with quarterly and annual REIT testing and related documentation. Update IRC Section workpapers and ensure accuracy in reporting. Track tax notices, gather relevant information, and draft response letters. Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field; MBT/MST is a plus. 3.5 + years of relevant tax experience, preferably in public accounting. Demonstrate experience with joint ventures, passthrough entities, or REITs. Exhibit strong organizational, communication, and time management skills. Show proficiency in Excel and familiarity with Yardi and Adobe applications. REF# #LI-DD1
