MarketSource is headquartered in Alpharetta, GA.SummaryThe District Manager role requires meeting and exceeding client field expectations with overall district responsibility for Client Program effectiveness and client/customer satisfaction. To do their jobs effectively, the District Manager must have excellent client service skills, the ability to identify, hire, train and manage talent and the ability to lead and develop others. District Managers must have powerful performance management and coaching skills allowing ongoing development of their employees. This position will be responsible for managing both full-time and part-time employees.Essential Job Functions:Manage all aspects of program execution within assigned territoryEstablish and maintain critical relationships with client and program leadershipEnsure and promote strong relationships with the field team and program leadership to ensure communication continuity and adoption of all directivesEnsure employee satisfaction through progressive employee engagementInterview and hire high quality full time and part time employeesManage attrition through key performance indicatorsManage performance in territory to achieve all objectivesWork collaboratively with field leadership to achieve all client and program objectivesCommunicate and execute the launch of projects and initiativesParticipate in and deliver regular program leadership meetingsProvide regular reports to program leadershipParticipate in and complete all required training and ensures all employees in territory are fully trained at all timesProvide feedback on current performance metrics, derive plan of action for future progress, and ensure execution to that planProvide responsibility for distribution, tracking and retention of all team resourcesGather intelligence through visit observation and synthesize into strategic recommendationsDirectly coach and train management and/or representatives within territoryResponsible for all operations within the assigned territoryRequired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Proven record of accomplishment as a successful leader and multi-unit managerPossess elevated level of business acumenAbility to train and develop subordinatesDemonstrated leadership, motivational and influencing skillsAbility to prioritize, organize, problem solve, meet deadlines and goalsAbility to communicate effectively and provide follow-upCapability of working in a team-oriented environment that is fair, open, and honestExcellent written/oral communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to present to senior leaders and executives, as well as small and large groupsIntegrity and ability to maintain confidentiality and personal credibilityAbility to tackle complex issues and develop innovative and practical solutionsAction and detail oriented; able to prioritize while handling multiple tasks and self-starterQuick and strong decision-making skillsProficient in all MS Office Suite; Word, Excel, and PowerPointJob Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree2+ years’ experience in industry-related field3+ years’ experience in management or leadership role75% travel; 2-3 weeks per monthMarketSource is an Equal Opportunity Employer and will consider all applications without regards to race, sex, age, color, religion, national origin, veteran status, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic information or any characteristic protected by law.
