The Senior Civil Project Engineer leads the planning, design, and execution of aviation-related civil engineering projects within Parkhill’s Aviation Practice. This role requires specialized knowledge in airport infrastructure and airfield design. Whether you are a recent graduate with untapped potential or a professional with provenexperience, we invite you to discover a career path designed for you. Parkhill is one of the largest architectural and engineering firms in the Southwestwith 14 officeslocatedthroughout Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma.Lead design and delivery of civil engineering projects at airports including runways, taxiways, aprons, grading, drainage, and access roadwaysServe as Engineer of Record on aviation infrastructure projectsOversee and review construction drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and technical reportsCoordinate project scope, schedule, budget, and resources with internal and external stakeholdersEnsure compliance with FAA Advisory Circulars, TxDOT Aviation guidelines, and local regulationsMentor and support junior engineers, EITs, and CAD designersLead coordination with clients, regulatory agencies, and contractorsSupport business development efforts such as proposals and interviewsConduct site visits and provide construction administration supportOther duties as assignedBachelor's degree in Civil EngineeringProfessional engineer license (PE)Minimum 7 years of civil engineering experienceKnowledge of FAA and TxDOT Aviation standards and processesFamiliarity with FAA AIP fundingExperience with software including AutoCAD and Civil 3DAbility to lead project design start to finish, considering time, cost and resourcesPossess strategic and effective delegation skillsKnowledge of environmental regulations and workplace safety regulationsBenefits and PerksWe offer a comprehensive benefits program that supports the whole person.
