Fresh Foods Distribution Warehouse ManagerThis is a full-time position at our Fresh Foods Distribution requiring Monday-Saturday with occasional Sundays according to business needs.Team Member Benefits Include:Weekly Pay~10% Employee DiscountMedical/Vision/Dental~Career Growth~Vacation Benefits• Communicates with Human Resources regarding open requisitions, needed advertising, andother recruitment issues.• Interviews, selects and trains new team members in coordination with Human Resources and Training.• Communicates with Buyers regarding merchandising, new product implementation andappropriate pricing. Promptly follows through with Buyer directions.• Coordinates the activities of the department such as team member scheduling, ordering of product and team member training/performance to bring about an safe, efficient and well managed department.• Coordinates the maintenance, repair and team member training regarding all equipment.• Functions as a working manager willing to perform all tasks necessary to assure the smoothoperation of the department.• Oversees department inventory as assigned for accuracy, quality, turn, and inventory procedures.• Performs all duties relating to warehouse security, i.e. lock-up of warehouse, opening of warehouse, theft prevention, on site maintenance and coordination of building repair.• At least 5 years of related experience.• Ability to work an average of 45-50 hours per week and adjust schedule to work load.• Valid Class 'C' PA Drivers license.• Valid PA CDL license or willingness to obtain it (Stauffers of Kissel Hill will cover costs)• Able to successfully complete DOT Physical and Drug Test as required according to DOT regulations.• Able to withstand exposure to outside weather conditions.• Able to withstand exposure to extreme cold due to working in coolers and freezers.• Able to operate powered equipment.• Able to lift up up to 50 lbs.
