PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR

As a Production Supervisor, you’ll get to manage a crew of warehouse personnel, manage customer relations, and be responsible for all aspects of operations of the warehouse location, including production, efficiencies, and employee development. This position fulfills the role of the On-Site Manager in the manager’s absence, so it is vital to the site’s overall success!Hourly Pay:$21.00-22.00/hrShift(s):1st Shift: Monday - Friday 6:00am - 3:30pmLocation:Upper Marlboro, MD 20774Communicate expectations and goals daily, weekly and monthly to the employees on their shiftPromote a safe working environment and helps ensure Safety Standards are metConduct Safety and shift start-up meetings with the employees and establish expectations for themAccurately complete daily production paperworkLoad and unload materials from trailersMove pallets or materials on pallets or in crates around the storage facilityStack pallets or materials in the correct manner, following inventory control instructionsEnsure loads are securePerform daily equipment checks on all Industrial power equipmentExamine products to verify conformance to quality standardsMust maintain a clean & safe working environment that meets Relogistics standardsAssist with forklift driver duties, as needed, supplying and retrieving pallets or materials to/from different areas within the warehouse, making accurate decisions regarding the movement of pallets or materials to maximize the efficiency of the location, as well as tracking these movements in a timely/legible mannerOther duties as assignedHigh school diploma or GED required3 years of applicable experience, preferably in manufacturing, supply chain/logistics, or distribution environments, 1 year in a supervisory roleDemonstrated ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedural instruction manualsAbility to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule formExperience in MS Office products (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)Forklift, yard truck, and sort machine certification may be requiredCompetitive PayHoliday PayReferral BonusesLong-Term Career Advancement Paid Time OffMedical, Dental, Vision, Basic Life, AD&D, and Short-Term & Long-Term Disability insurance for Eligible Full Time Employees401(k) Retirement PlanGreat Team EnvironmentRelogistics is part of the largest pallet management services company in North America!
