About the role We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Oracle Fusion Financials Functional Consultant to help stabilize, optimize and extend our financial close and core GL/AP/AR/FA processes. This leader will drive configuration solution design gap assessments and UAT coordination in partnership with Accounting and FP&A. In this role, you will: + Lead the design and implementation of Oracle Cloud Financial solutions to meet business requirements and improve operational efficiency. + Oversee the integration of Oracle Cloud FIN modules ensuring seamless functionality across Receivables Cash Management Payments Payables Assets General Ledger and Expenses. + Provide expert guidance on the use of OTBI and Financial Reporting Studio to generate insightful financial reports that support decision-making. + Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications for system enhancements. + Monitor and manage scheduled jobs and integrations in Oracle ERP Cloud and Fusion Accounting Hub. + Coordinate with offshore teams for timely issue resolution and job completion. + Perform root cause analysis and provide L2/L3 support for GL and FAH modules. + Gather requirements for enhancements, design configurations, and collaborate with development teams for customizations and testing. + Conduct thorough testing of implemented solutions to ensure they meet quality standards and perform as expected in a live environment. + Facilitate workshops and training sessions to empower end-users with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively utilize Oracle Cloud Financial applications. + Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain optimal system functionality and user satisfaction. + Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and drive continuous innovation. + Support the migration of legacy systems to Oracle Cloud ensuring data integrity and minimal disruption to business operations. + Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations processes and procedures for future reference. + Stay updated with the latest Oracle Cloud Financial developments and trends to ensure the organization remains at the forefront of technology. + Manage project timelines and deliverables ensuring that all initiatives are completed on time and within budget. Work model: Hybrid u2013 from the United States only What you need to have to be considered u00b7 9 to 10 years Oracle financials domain background. u00b7 Hands-on experience with Fusion GL AP AR CM FA and Subledger Accounting. u00b7 Ability to translate accounting & policy requirements into system behaviors. u00b7 Strong stakeholder alignment skills and experience in fast-scaling environments. u00b7 Experience supporting month-end close reconciliations and audit readiness. u00b7 Possess extensive experience with Oracle Cloud FIN modules including Receivables Cash Management Payments Payables Assets General Ledger and Expenses. u00b7 Demonstrate proficiency in OTBI and Financial Reporting Studio for creating detailed financial reports. u00b7 Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex system issues. u00b7 Show capability in leading workshops and training sessions to enhance user knowledge and system adoption. u00b7 Display strong project management skills with a focus on meeting deadlines and achieving project goals. u00b7 Exhibit excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex system challenges. u00b7 Showcase strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders. u00b7 Have a proven track record of successfully leading system implementations and upgrades. u00b7 Display a proactive approach to identifying and implementing process improvements. Salary and Other Compensation The annual salary for this position is between $138,500 - $162,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizantu2019s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizantu2019s applicable plans.
