+ $51 per hour + 36 Hour Day Shift + 7a-730p + 1:7 Ratio on average + Oncology experience strongly preferred but client will review general M/S Tele experience + 13 week contract - opportunity to extend The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Oncology Telemetry Unit provides specialized nursing care to oncology patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring. This role combines expertise in oncology nursing with advanced telemetry skills to ensure safe, high-quality care for patients undergoing cancer treatment and experiencing cardiac complications. Key Responsibilities: + Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms using telemetry equipment. + Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs and symptom evaluation. + Administer medications, chemotherapy, and supportive treatments per physician orders. + Respond promptly to cardiac emergencies and arrhythmias. + Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (oncologists, cardiologists, pharmacists) to develop and implement care plans. + Educate patients and families on treatment plans, cardiac monitoring, and symptom management. + Maintain accurate documentation in electronic health records (EHR). + Adhere to infection control and chemotherapy safety protocols.
