Yes County Albany Street Address 15 Computer Drive City Albany State NY Zip Code 12205 Duties Description Reporting to the Director of External Affairs, the Director of Marketing will provide marketing leadership and strategy that align with business goals. The Director will oversee the daily operations of the creative team within the Communications Department, working closely with the Deputy Communications Director.The Director of Marketing will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of comprehensive marketing strategies that effectively position NYSIF as a competitive force in the marketplace and an industry leader in price, quality, and customer service. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:u2022 Develop and execute an annual marketing plan aligned with the company's strategic goals and growth objectives.u2022 Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities, trends, and challenges within the workers' compensation insurance landscape.u2022 Define target audiences and develop tailored messaging and campaigns to effectively reach multiple audiences.u2022 Collaborate closely with client relations, sales, underwriting, claims, and product development teams to ensure marketing initiatives support overall business objectives.u2022 Develop and implement strategies to increase market share, create brand awareness and enhance customer relationships in collaboration with business teams. u2022 Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns. Track results and conduct post-campaign ROI analysis and reporting.u2022 Foster a work environment that balances collaboration, innovation, performance, and careful stewardship of resources and relationships.u2022 Work collaboratively with business leadership to communicate vision, strategy, image and brand message across all levels of the organization and to external stakeholders.u2022 Oversee development, production, and distribution of all marketing materials, including online content, publications, customer documents and materials.u2022 Work closely with business leadership to ensure the brand identity and positioning is consistent across organizational communications and to help ensure the customer experience aligns with brand identity. u2022 Assist in the transformation and marketing of processes or programs that highlight, communicate and implement a customer-centric approach.u2022 Advise senior management on various marketing strategies including media and external communications content.u2022 Develop and optimize lead generation strategies through various channels, including digital marketing (SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing), content marketing, and traditional advertising.u2022 Manage the company website, ensuring it is up-to-date, user-friendly, and optimized for lead conversion. Implement and manage marketing automation platforms and CRM integration to streamline leads and tracking. Minimum Qualifications Bacheloru2019s degree in marketing, communications or relevant field and a minimum of 7 years of executive-level experience in customer/client relations, marketing, and/or public relations. u2022 Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.u2022 Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage projects from inception to go-live.u2022 Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.u2022 Excellent track record of leadership and supervisory experience.u2022 Significant writing and editing experience, with excellent grasp of grammar and creating content for websites.u2022 Demonstrated leadership as part of a marketing and communications team.Preferred Qualifications:u2022 Masteru2019s degree in marketing, communications or relevant field.u2022 The ideal candidate will be collaborative, a creative thinker, and demonstrate the ability to work across a multidisciplinary team.u2022 A record of progressive marketing experience in either the financial services or insurance industry. u2022 Knowledge of the insurance industry and emergent trends in workersu2019 compensation and disability coverage.u2022 Experience in customer service and customer-centered approaches to written and digital marketing communication. u2022 Meaningful experience converting technical jargon into plain language for external customers.
