Lead and manage a US based team of closing specialists tasked with driving engagement with the fund managers of an investoru2019s portfolio of fund interests to progress the information release process prior to the auction of the fund portfolio and the fund transfer process following the auction. Explain technical aspects of the legal transfers such as GP (General Partner or Managing Partner) Anti Money Laundering requirements or transfer agreement provisions to the more junior team and deal leads as necessary to ensure the most efficient and regulatory sound closing process. Explain and manage US and UK tax workstreams where necessary and guide outside tax counsel where needed to achieve commercially acceptable outcomes where tax issues exist both for the company and clients. Oversee closing teamu2019s use of Campbell Lutyensu2019 Customer Relationship Management tool, CLiCK (Salesforce) to ensure information gathered on mandates can be used on future projects. Maintain good relationships with GPs (General Partners or Managing Partners) that are frequently traded and their general counsels to facilitate resolution of issues on mandates and promote business development opportunities for the Campbell Lutyens team. May telecommute within commuting distance of work location one day a week. Requirements: Bacheloru2019s degree or foreign equivalent in finance, economics, or law. In lieu of these fields of study, employer will accept a liberal arts degree with one year of legal studies plus admission to practice law in the United States or a foreign jurisdiction and/or registration as in house counsel in New York. In addition to degree requirements, employer requires five years of relevant experience. Experience must include: relationship management, fund taxation, relevant legal processes for private funds, and commercial fund lifecycle. Skill set does not need to be maintained for the full term of required experience.Minimum Salary: 190000Maximum Salary: 210000Salary Unit: Yearly
