Location: Albany, NY Category: Civil Service Posted On: Wed Nov 19 2025 Job Description: Vacancy #: WF250160 Apply by: November 30, 2025 Title: Plant Utilities Engineer 4 (PEF) Location: Facilities Management Power Plant Salary: $78,126 Grade: SG-21 (PEF) Hours: 7am-3pm Monday-Friday (pass days Sat / Sun) Duration: Permanent Job Requirements: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must have a reachable score on the Plant Utilities Engineer 4 Exam List OR Be a current NYS employee and have a current permanent appointment with 1 year of service as a Plant Utilities Engineer 4, or in a title eligible to transfer to Plant Utilities Engineer 4 OR Be a former NYS employee eligible for reinstatement to the title of Plant Utilities Engineer 4 May be filled from a mandatory reemployment list if one is in effect at the time of appointment.
