Product Finishing Packaging Associate

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Description This is a part-time position. (10hours/week) JOB OBJECTIVE: Pull products from inventory, assemble flatstock to create boxfolds and package products with minimal supervisionon day-to-day work. CORE DUTIES: 1. Pull supply of flat stock frompallet and assemble them into boxfolds for use in packaging operations.2. Convey assembled boxes to storage area, using pallet jack. 3. Labeland package components accurately. 4. Accurate documentation ofnecessary paperwork. 5. Perform other duties as assigned by workflowcoordinator, assistant supervisor, or supervisor. 6. Apply labelsaccording to Promega specifications to inventory that will be used byKit Packing department and other areas. 7. Demonstrates inclusionthrough their own words and actions and is accountable for a safeworkspace. Understandsand complies with ethical, legal and regulatory requirements applicableto our business. KEY QUALIFICATIONS: 1. High School diploma or provenwork experience that ensures you are ready to be successful in thisrole. 2. Ability to work quickly and accurately. 3. Competency ingeneral math. 4. General computer knowledge. 5. Ability to work in ateam environment. 6. Demonstrated proficiency in digital tools andtechnology, including Microsoft applications and mobile platforms, withthe ability to adapt and leverage emerging technologies, such asartificial intelligence, to improve efficiency, automation, andcollaboration. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Prior experience in aproduction environment. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: 1. Ability to remainstationary for several hours at a time. 2. Ability to bend multipletimes per day. 3. Ability to use hands for repetitive motions throughoutshift. 4. Visual acuity for quality inspections. 5. Ability to move upto 300 lbs. on a dolly and 500 lbs. on a pallet jack occasionally. 6.Ability to wear a hair net, lab coat and beard net (if applicable).
