Description Austin Bridge & Road is currently seeking experienced Mechanic (San Antonio, TX) Heavy Equipment . We excel at what we do and are looking for talented construction professionals that want to excel with us. Great opportunity for a Mechanic with at least 3 years of service and repair experience. Responsibilities u2022 Perform daily equipment inspections u2022 Follow all safety policies and procedures u2022 Work hours adjusted to meet the projectu2019s needs; days, nights and weekends u2022 Able to work in adverse weather conditions, hot or cold temperatures u2022 Other duties as assigned Qualifications Mechanical aptitude with required knowledge of: + Diesel engines + Transmissions + Electrical systems + Hydraulic systems + Must have a strong commitment to jobsite safety + Diligent in demonstrating safe work practices + Experience with asphalt and concrete paving equipment preferred + Applicants must be legally authorized to work for ANY employer in the United States.
