CDL Driver

Job Title: CDL Driver Location: Strasburg OH Duration: + Months Summary: The Driver is responsible for driving a vehicle. Adhere to all driving related safety procedures. Budget and Compensation Bonuses: Air slide runs Silo moves (up to - bonuses/day) Hotshot deliveries Reimbursable Expenses: Coverall laundry ($/rotation) Checked baggage and airport parking Hazmat fingerprinting Business-related vehicle expenses (, oil) Key Responsibilities Operate various vehicles including: Tractor trailer units Body load units s with gooseneck trailers Hook up hoses, run air slide controls, strap loads Hotshot pallets of chemicals between districts May assist equipment operators when needed Not a “no-touch” driving role — physical involvement is required Shift/Hours Rotation: days on / days off Hours: Up to hours/day, occasionally hours/day Typically work up to hours/week, followed by a DOT reset Weekly Average: - hours/week Experience and Skills Must be able to drive manual transmission vehicles (Automatic transmission restrictions disqualify candidates due to limited availability of automatic trucks) Top skills: Willingness to learn Adaptability to changing schedules and tasks Time management and self-regulation No minimum years of experience required License and Certification Requirements Valid Class A CDL Air brakes endorsement Tanker endorsement Manual transmission capability required Hazmat endorsement is a plus but not required Minimum education: High school diploma or equivalent Travel Requirements Travel required; housing and flights provided Local candidates preferred Local shuttle available in Strasburg district Work Environment Based in Strasburg, OH Field/onshore, heavy industrial environment Hands-on, physically active role Training Conducted in Kellyville: NEST HVT QUEST certifications Additional in-house and site-specific safety training Shadowing with experienced drivers before solo assignments Physical Demands Must be able to: Strap loads Hook up hoses Operate trailer and body load units Not a sedentary or “drive-only” role Safety DOT reset compliance required Emergency evacuation and site-specific safety training included Interview Process One round, typically phone interview In-person possible for local candidates No formal driving test
