Lead CNC Set Up Machinist

Lead CNC Set Up Machinist Responsible for machining parts to engineering specifications. Ability to do multiple set-ups on a daily basis. Mount, install, align and secure tools, attachments, fixtures and pieces on Milling machines, using hand tools and precision measuring instruments. Analyze specifications and blueprint data to calculate dimensions, tool selection, machine speeds and feeds. Measure dimensions of finished piece to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments, templates and fixtures. Ability to prove out and read programs. Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations. Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces. Experience with Mastercam a plus. Experience with Hurco Milling machines a plus. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Ability to use calipers, micrometers, depth micrometers and other measuring equipment as required. Ability to read blueprints Minimum of five years experience in a machine shop. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
