Other systems and programs used by NYBG include Vena, SQL, AdvancedMD, SIS, Salesforce, Shopify, etc. The Finance Systems Manager will ensure that the systems operate smoothly and deliver accurate and complete records to all relevant stakeholders across the company, including finance, accounting, operations, technology, and C-suite members. The Finance Systems Manager is primarily responsible for managing the financial systems on behalf of the Finance function, leading process design, functional configuration, reporting, and user training/support, while partnering closely with IT to ensure technical reliability, security, and integration across the entire suite.GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:Lead process design, including process mapping, monitoring, and improvement for Finance transformationIdentify areas of improvement; research best practices/benchmarks and offer guidance and recommendations for process and systems improvements for the Finance transformationTake ownership and responsibility for the end-to-end finance processes and applicationsCompile and create process documentation and create cartography of all finance solutionsPrioritize critical business projects and enhancements in coordination with Data & IT teamsDrive master data accuracy and ownership within finance applications to ensure accurate reportingReview and define all required KPI and work with the Data team, RCM team, & IT to obtain data sources and integrations required to build and support themESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Serve as the primary business owner for financial applications, ensuring they align with finance processes, compliance requirements, accounting standards, organizational policies, and evolving business needs.Ensure all finance system integrations are functioning as designed and provide break-fix supportSupport the Accounting Team in system-related matters to support the monthly and annual close processesWork closely with other cross-functional business partners to implement process improvement initiativesAct as the key point of contact for Finance, contributing to integration projectsAct as system administrator on all finance systemsManage contracts and act as the key contact for all third-party contacts of Finance System VendorsLead efforts to optimize finance workflows, prioritizing user experience and adoption across all finance systemsMeasuring and tracking systems performance, data integrity, and process efficiencyLeverage best practices, industry standards, methodologies, technologies, and frameworks to execute on business initiatives Work independently to ensure all system-related projects are progressing and on target with the Finance Department’s road mapQUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS:Self-motivated to work independently and ensure projects advance as necessaryExperience in delivering projects that cover the full life cycle of assessment, design, and implementation supportProven experience in the assessment of business and operating systemsPossesses a structured, data-driven, and analytical approach to problem solvingAbility to manage projects that span departments, functions, and business entitiesProven experience with change management; can act as a change agent with strong drive and capacity to influenceDemonstrates creativity and outside of the box thinking to approach new challengesAbility to understand customer needs and deliver customer centric solutions and processesCan work efficiently in a fast pace and complex organizationExcellent communication and presentation skills, including with Senior ExecutivesExcellent organizational and time management skillsAbility to work autonomously and under limited supervision, meeting tight deadlines under pressureEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:BS/BA required5 years' experience with project management, finance strategy, systems migrations, systems administration and support, financial reporting, business process improvementCERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:Netsuite certified preferredCoupa certified preferredAll other system certifications a plus
