A private family of 3 adults and 1 child in the Boerum Hill neighborhood of Brooklyn is seeking a meticulous, proactive, and trustworthy full-time housekeeperto maintain their 8,000 sq ft, multi-level townhouse to an exceptional standard. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail, excellent time management skills, and the ability to follow direction while taking initiative when needed. Discretion and professionalism are essential. The general schedule will be Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm. Local candidates only, please. Looking to hire immediately.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to;Maintain “hotel-level” cleanliness and organization throughout the homeAll aspects of general cleaning (Family has an outside source for once-a-week deep cleans)Change all bedding twice a week - Make the beds with precisionHandle laundry and steaming, including care of fine and couture fabricsEnsure all floors and surfaces are always kept spotlessOrganize closets, storage areas, and laundry roomsAdhere to daily and weekly cleaning schedules and checklists for each floorLearn and manage the home’s security system and assist with package deliveriesMaintain a tidy, well-presented kitchen and bathrooms at all timesCommunicate clearly and promptly during designated work hoursProfessional, discreet, and trustworthyKeen eye for detail and takes pride in their workCommunicative but not overly chattyAbility to read the room and know when to step outWorks intuitively and is proactiveKnowledge of how to clean various surfaces, including stone, marble, and woodExcellent with laundry and fine fabric careStrong organizational skillsComfortable working independently and following directionsCalm, warm presenceMinimum 5 years of experience in private, high-level householdsKnowledge of fine fabrics.
