We provide a full range of industrial facilities maintenance and process maintenance services.MOR PPM Inc. is looking for plant mechanics in Thompson, Ohio. The Plant Mechanic will perform as a skilled mechanic in the constant improvement of maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment. Mechanics will practice safety conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures; comply with all costumer rules and safety procedures and policies. Properly diagnose, replace or repair parts of equipment utilizing appropriate tooling, equipment and material to accomplish maintenance functions including but not limited to the following: inspections, troubleshooting, repairing, fabricating, removing and replacing components on equipment. Must be able to solve problems by studying drawings, and technical publications if necessary.Responsible for the Constant improvement, fabrication, and repair of Tire Manufacturing equipment.Possess the ability to use the English language to communicate (both verbally and in writing) accurately and concisely on technical matters to external and internal customersRead and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings.Have a valid Driver’s License.Experienced in industrial maintenance work.Ability to work independentlyBasic computer skillsBasic electrical skillsHave a complete set of a mechanics’ tools appropriate for maintenance and repair (company will provide access to specialized tools)Ability to demonstrate proficiency in all the above areasPreferred experience3+ years PM and industrial or commercial experienceTechnical school training or degree is a plusWelding experience is a plusMust be able to complete hiring paperwork electronically through DocuSignMay be required to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 poundsMust possess enough strength and stamina to perform the technical duties and essential functions as identified aboveMust be able to move in and around confined spaces and uneven areasMust have full range of motion consistent with ageMust be able to climb and maintain balance laddersMust be able to adequately hear and respond to voice commands and alerts from other employees, alarms and other job-related noisesVisual acuity, depth perception and color discrimination consistent with that required to work at heights and on uneven surfacesSafety/Steel toe shoes are required#PPMAs a leading provider of mechanical and electrical construction, facilities services, and energy infrastructure, we offer employees a competitive salary and benefits package and we are always looking for individuals with the talent and skills required to contribute to our continued growth and success.
