The Installer II is one of the last points of contact for the customer in the sales process and contributes to the goal of providing the highest level of customer service and satisfaction.Essential FunctionsTo perform this job successfully, an Installer II must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Perform disassembly and reassembly of all Steelcase and office systems furnitureRecommend solutions to improvise and redesign on job site, or customize in order to get the job completedAccurately complete and submit required paperwork, i.e. Timesheets, Merchandise Return Properly load and pack truck for deliveriesKnowledge & experience of wall mount applications (white boards, lockers)Provide backup assistance for all warehouse duties, as necessaryAdherence to Operations procedures and policies and standards of conduct off siteWork closely with Operations Lead and Lead installer to coordinate on-site progress and issues.Assist in teaching new Installers essential job functionsBasic computer troubleshooting abilityKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities Should possess excellent communication skills; both verbal and writtenUnderstanding and knowledge of product lines and services offeredEffective customer service skillsAbility to follow instructions and adhere to department and company policies and proceduresMindful of maintaining safety in the work environmentUnderstanding of and effective use of blue printsMust be able to provide own tool set as defined by OpenSquarePosition requires ownership/access to a reliable vehicleMust be able to drive company vehicles (no CDL required)Must have a valid driver’s license in the state of Washington and maintain a good driving record, along with unexpired or current auto insurance.
