Sr. Accountant

Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Irving, Texas. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to key financial operations while working closely with the Accounting Manager. The role requires a detail-oriented individual who can ensure the accuracy and efficiency of financial processes, including cost accounting, tax reporting, and month-end close procedures. Responsibilities: u2022 Collaborate with the Accounting Manager to manage daily and monthly accounting tasks, ensuring accurate financial reporting. u2022 Oversee administrative expense accounting and assist in payment processing to maintain timely operations. u2022 Coordinate month-end general ledger close processes and prepare journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations. u2022 Perform account reconciliations, including fixed assets and lease accounting, to ensure precision in financial records. u2022 Prepare documentation and provide necessary support for external audits. u2022 Monitor and enforce internal controls to ensure compliance with company policies and US accounting standards. u2022 Address ad-hoc financial requests promptly and efficiently. u2022 Lead initiatives to improve business processes by collaborating across departments. Requirements u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Accounting or Finance. u2022 Certification as a CPA is preferred, but not required. u2022 Minimum of 3-5+ years of relevant accounting experience. u2022 Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. u2022 Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. u2022 Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities under pressure. u2022 Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. u2022 Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a detail-oriented approach.
