Preferred Qualifications: Spanish speaking is preferred, but not required. Job Summary: Nutritionist I provides nutritional information and services to patients, families, and interest groups. Job Duties: u2022 Plans, organizes, coordinates, and evaluates nutritional programs. u2022 Develops and implements plan of care and correlates with other health services. u2022 Evaluates patient's nutritional care and provides follow-up continuity of care. u2022 Instructs patients and families in nutritional principles, diet, food selection and economics. u2022 Provides consultation to and works with community groups. u2022 Maintains records of all individuals counseled. u2022 Adheres to internal controls established for department. u2022 Performs related duties as required. Salary Range: Actual salary commensurate with experience. Work Schedule: Nights and weekends possible. Must be willing to work until at least 6pm for clinic hours, with flexibility if client needs require later or weekends. Position requires travel for training and coverage; must be willing to travel.
