Position: Senior Packaging Operator Location: Woodland, CA u2013 Onsite Pay : Up to 30/hr depending on education and experience Department/Team Description: Packaging Department u2013 responsible for visually inspecting and packaging pharmaceutical products while ensuring quality, compliance, and adherence to cGMP standards throughout the production process. Position Summary: Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring a Senior Packaging Operator for a leading pharmaceutical partner. The operator will perform duties related to inspection, packaging, and handling of production lots, including cleaning and upkeep of packaging and inspection areas. This role ensures all operations meet cGMP standards and supports efficient production workflows. Key Duties & Responsibilities: + Visually inspect product vials for defects, media-filled vials for contamination, and packaging components for quality. + Follow cGMP guidelines and accurately record data in BPRs/EBRs and inventory management systems. + Assemble products and components according to production schedules, BOMs, or supervisor instructions. + Perform inventory adjustments and material movements in inventory management systems. + Set up and safely operate packaging line equipment for packaging and component preparation. + Distribute components, supplies, and products to maintain smooth packaging operations. + Examine products for defects, check lot information, and ensure proper storage of in-process materials. + Organize products in and out of 2u20138u00b0C cold rooms, ensuring proper storage. + Move and secure skids, transit trays, and containers, and prepare packaged products for shipping. + Conduct line clearances, counts, and reconciliation of products and components. + Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with cGMP standards. Requirements / Qualifications: + High School Diploma or GED required. + Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English to follow SOPs, BPRs, and verbal instructions. + Strong verbal and written communication skills. + Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as required. + Dependable attendance and consistent performance. + Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. + Basic computer skills and proficiency in SAP, including notifications. + Ability to perform basic math functions (add, subtract, multiply, divide). + Maintain housekeeping and organization in work areas per cGMP standards. Physical Requirements: + Lift/carry up to 50 lbs.; push/pull up to 300 lbs. with assistance. + Stand or sit for extended periods during shifts. + Perform repetitive hand/wrist motions, bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching overhead. + Work without heavy makeup or hand lotion. + Identify color-coded labels and wear required protective clothing (gloves, etc.). + Work in environments with dust, corrugated materials, and chemicals. + Must meet occupational demands and physical requirement checklist. Preferences: + Experience operating automated packaging equipment.
