This is a hybrid position with 3 days (generally Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) in the New York, NY; Hartford, CT; Irving, TX; or Wellesley, MA office location. The other 2 days each week may be worked remotely from home, another location, or youu2019re welcome to be in the office on those days as well. The hourly rate is $55/hr with 40 hours/week, no work on July 4th (company holiday), and two days of paid leave. Additionally, our corporate interns have an increased likelihood to receive an offer for a future role with CVS Health. Sponsorship: Work visa sponsorship is not available for this role. This includes participation in Curricular Practical Training (CPT), Optional Practical Training (OPT), and F-1 Visa programs. Relocation: CVS Health follows a hybrid work model providing office-based colleagues the ability to flex between working in the office and working from home based on the work you need to accomplish. Relocation assistance will be provided for candidates that need to move over 50 miles. Youu2019ll work on initiatives that require deeper technical expertise and strategic thinking, including: u00b7 Designing and building scalable software applications using modern programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript) u00b7 Developing and optimizing user interfaces with frameworks/libraries such as React or Angular u00b7 Building server-side solutions using Node.js u00b7 Leveraging cloud platforms (Google Cloud Platform (GCP) preferred) for development and deployment u00b7 Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions u00b7 Applying Agile/SAFe methodologies and contributing to architecture-level discussions Required Qualifications: u00b7 Proficiency in Python for software development u00b7 Experience designing and building software applications using additional programming languages such as Java or JavaScript u00b7 Proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating data u00b7 Familiarity with front-end frameworks/libraries such as React or Angular u00b7 Experience designing and developing high-performance, large-scale distributed systems (using APIs, microservices, and data streams) u00b7 Experience using Node.js for building server-side or back-end applications u00b7 Experience with cloud development (GCP preferred) u00b7 Internship or work experience in a related field Preferred Qualifications: u00b7 Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and related tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Artifactory, Docker) u00b7 Ability to troubleshoot and optimize for performance and scalability u00b7 Strong collaboration and communication skills within and across teams u00b7 Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities u00b7 Resourceful and adaptable to change in a fast-paced environment Education: u00b7 Currently pursuing a Masteru2019s degree with expected graduation between Dec 2026 u2013 June 2027 u00b7 Preferred majors: Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $55.00 - $55.00 Whether in our pharmacies or through our health service offerings, we are pioneering a bold new approach to total health care.
