The Sleep Disorders Center at Cleveland Clinic in Florida is a full-service center for evaluating, diagnosing and treating a broad range of sleep disorders. This team accurately pinpoints the root cause of sleep problems, creates personalized treatment plans to bring relief and helps patients find their way back to peaceful, restful sleep. A caregiver in this position works 7:00PM - 7:30AM as needed. A minimum of 48 hours in a 6 week scheduling period is required. Caregiver who excels in this role will: + Perform comprehensive polysomnographic testing, scoring analysis and associated interventions. + Provide supervision of Polysomnographic Technicians and Polysomnographic Trainees. + Review history/physical information, medications, test requests and study protocol. + Complete and verify all documentation (pre- and post-sleep questionnaires, technician notes, etc.). + Explain the procedure and orient the patient to the sleep center. + Prepare and calibrate equipment required for testing to determine proper functioning and make adjustments if necessary. + Apply electrodes and sensors according to accepted published standards. + Perform appropriate physiologic calibrations to ensure proper signals and make adjustments if necessary. + Perform routine positive airway pressure (PAP) mask fitting. + Follow procedural protocols (e.g., MSLT, parasomnia studies, PAP and oxygen titration, etc.) to ensure collection of appropriate data. + Follow
