As a Machinist Level 1 here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for operating various machines and tools to produce precision parts and components. This role is essential in ensuring that our manufacturing processes run smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall success of our production team. You will report directly to our Production Supervisor and you’ll work out of our Muncie, IN location onsite. In this role, you will impact the quality and efficiency of our manufacturing operations, ensuring that all products meet the required specifications and standards. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** + Operate and maintain various machining equipment to produce high-quality parts. + Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations. + Perform routine maintenance on machines and tools to ensure optimal performance. **YOU MUST HAVE** + Experience in a manufacturing or machining environment. + Knowledge of machining processes and techniques. + Proficiency in operating CNC machines and manual lathes. + Familiarity with measuring instruments and tools such as calipers and micrometers. + Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and blueprints. **WE VALUE** + High School Diploma or equivalent. + 1+ years of experience in machining or a related field. + Attention to detail and a commitment to quality. + Ability to work in a team-oriented environment. + Problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. **ABOUT HONEYWELL** Honeywell International Inc.
