Associate w/ Kirkland & Ellis LLP (NY, NY). Working w/in the Healthcare & Life Sciences Regulatory practice grp, provide legal advice on healthcare, life sciences, & privacy & security regulatory & transactional matters of healthcare & life sciences entities & investors. Requires a JD or LLM, or foreign equiv., & admission to a US state bar. Reqs 4 yrs exp. as an Associate, Law Clerk, Consultant, or related w/ a law firm. Must incl. exp. working w/in the Health Care practice of a law firm. Exp. must incl.: strategic advice w/r/t business transactions incl. M&A, carve-outs & other strategic business deals & corporate finance transactions; reg. & compliance matters related to ongoing operations; reg. issues incl. privacy & security regs under HIPAA, Stark Law, FTC Health Breach Notification Rule, Anti-Kickback Statute, & licensure rules; transactional deals relating to health data as an asset & mgmt of health data repositories; & reg. issues in the context of commercial transactions & reg. disclosures & filings.
