We want you to apply now What You Will Do In Your Role: u00b7 You will be responsible for the administration of basic nursing procedures and or clerical duties involved with the care of hospital patients under the direction of the Registered Nurse RN. u00b7 You will be responsible for assisting with routine patient care assignments, working in controlled and/or uncontrolled patient care situations, assisting with/in established nursing care procedures, and assisting in therapeutic, rehabilitative, and preventive activities under the direction of a Registered Nurse. u00b7 You will be responsible for assisting the RN with patient movement, clerical functions and treatments as prescribed by the physician. u00b7 You will maintain in-hospital competency for performing 12-lead electrocardiogram and completes as ordered by physician. u00b7 You will maintain in-hospital competency for performing phlebotomy and completes as ordered by physician. What qualifications you will need: u00b7 1 year of EMT experience preferred. u00b7 Texas Department of Health Certification: Emergency Medical Technician (Basic, Intermediate, or Paramedic) required. u00b7 Current American Heart Association BLS Certification is required.
