The primary location for this role is Northwest Houston Surgical & Specialty Care center, but flexibility to report to other locations, as needed, is required. The primary purpose of the Public Safety Officer position is to screen students, patients, staff, faculty and visitors entering the facilities of the University for proper identification. Through observation and patrol, safeguard institutional property, identify security issues and enforce institutional rules and regulations. In emergencies, facilitate the orderly evacuation of the buildings and structures. In this role, you are considered ESSENTIAL PERSONNEL. Officers work within a healthcare campus environment and may rotate across posts. Shifts may include days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
