The Directorof Data Analytics is a technically proficient and strategic leaderresponsible for designing and delivering a sophisticated analyticsprogram that supports data-informed decision-making by senior leadershipand central administration at Boston University. This position requiresdeep technical fluency in Python, SQL, machine learning, and statisticalmodeling, alongside the ability to translate advanced analyses intoactionable institutional insights. The Director delivers high-impactdata products including predictive models, statistical analyses,executive dashboards, and scenario simulations to support institutionalplanning, resource allocation, policy development, and performanceassessment. This role is critical in advancing a modern, scalableanalytics infrastructure and in developing cutting-edge models thatdirectly inform areas such as enrollment forecasting, student success,and operational optimization.
