Job Description

JOB REQUIREMENTS: SHINE Technologies is seeking a Test Engineer who willbe responsible for the development and execution of test plans for SHINEequipment and processes. Test Engineers lead the commissioning andtesting of electro-mechanical devices including the software. They alsoperform process acceptance testing of prototype production equipment andare responsible for product verification and validation. Test engineersare the primary operators of the first systems and develop thedocumentation for safe operation. They also develop test procedures anddesign test fixtures for components, sub-assemblies, and systems. Thebase salary range for this position is $79,000 - $85,000 per year plusa comprehensive compensation package. Our salary ranges are determinedby role, level, and location. Duties and Responsibilities: Specificduties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Developdetailed component and subassembly acceptance test procedures andcriteria in collaboration with design engineering teams Create detailedsystem integration plans and system test procedures Test and verifycomponents and subassemblies using electrical testing and/or precisionmeasurement equipment Perform I/O checks, troubleshoot and repairproblems found during testing Maintain detailed test records OperateSHINE accelerator systems Exercise prototype systems, establish systemoperating conditions and modes Lead the development of documentation forsafe operation of first of a kind systems Participate in design reviewsand provide practical feedback from system testing to influence futuredesigns Member of team performing device commissioning, service andtraining of operators at customer sites Maintain a safe, clean, andorganized test environment Perform job duties with minimal instructionor supervision OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: BS inMechanical, Nuclear, or Electrical Engineering, Physics or equivalentexperience 2+ years of experience in a highly technical industrypreferred Experience with basic electrical tools including DMM,oscilloscope and soldering Experience creating test procedures, assemblydocumentation and developing processes Experience troubleshootingcomplex electro-mechanical systems Ability to read CAD assembly modelsand electrical schematics Desire to learn innovative technologies andconcepts Ability to work independently and within team environmentsPreferred Qualifications: Troubleshooting and debugging system hardwareand software experience Troubleshooting knowledge of electro-mechanicaldevices and the processes they support Working knowledge of analog,digital, and power circuitry, able to read detailed schematics Workingknowledge of high voltage systems Working knowledge of high vacuumsystems Experience with plasma sources and ion beam Experience withLabVIEW development Experience with new product development, prototypeand R&D Experience creating models and/or schematics inSolidworks/Solidworks Electrical (or other CAD software) Proficiency indata analysis and database knowledge Flexibility to work various shifts APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: Apply Online:
